A series rewriting Season 3, beginning with  an alternate version of Season 3's Helpless, in which the Council locks a drugged and powerless Buffy in with a certain bleached-blond vampire who already has two Slayers under his belt.  Continues there in unfolding Spike and Buffy's journey through acceptance, trust, and eventually love.

An apocalypse threat in Maryland requires a vampire's help to disenchant a stone used in the ritual to destroy all of mankind. Since Angelus is still without his soul, Buffy is forced to ask the one vampire she hates for a hand. The problem is, he's in a wheelchair. What happens when a crippled vamp and a slayer make a cross-country trip to save the world? Will they kill each other before they get there, or will her horrible driving do the job for them? But what if they found solace in one another's company instead? Could it be? Yes, it most certainly could.

The last thing Spike remembers is going down in the Hellmouth, but when he comes back in front of the Powers That Be, he knows that life isn't over. The Powers have plans for everyone's favorite champions. Unfortunately, those champions can never seem to get back on the right track, and the Powers have to pull out all the stops to make sure that they go in the right direction.

Starts with the resurrection spell and goes completely AU.  Willow decides that Buffy must return.  When Tara, Anya, and Xander refuse to do the spell, she uses magic to get her way.  When she does the spell, she is found unworth.  The cost, Buffy.  The Slayer merges herself with Buffy trying to save her, but it will not be enough if Spike can not save them in time. 

Set in Season 6 of BtVS, post Gone. Spike comes to Buffy with a surprising revelation.

Set during the 19 century around 1888. Angelus brings home a girl which Spike unknowingly claims as his own.

Buffy asks Spike to help her with her Thanksgiving dinner, and is determined to keep Xander’s prophecy the previous year of a “new tradition” from coming true. The PTB, unfortunately, have other ideas. Season 5: No Glory, Riley, or Dawn.

After Buffy dies, those that love her have to deal with the aftermath and want her back.

Response to Challenge #101 from Skybound. Instead of leaving Buffy to fend for herself against Angel and Acathla, Spike comes back to lend a hand and gets sent to hell in Angel's place. Riddled with guilt and plagued by dreams, Buffy becomes obsessed with making things right. Will she get her chance when a feral Spike is returned from hell, or will she get something... 'a whole lot better'?

Season 3, Lover's Walk. Spike returns to Sunnydale to kill the Slayer. He’s just too drunk to do it properly, and ends up getting himself into the deep without even realizing it. Perhaps worst of all, he has no memory of his actions the next day.
