Heartbreaking. As most of season 6.
Author's Response: Thanks! And yeah, this is definitely one of my angstier ones.
I am just so glad that Spike was really there to find Dawn and bring her home. Dawn really needed to talk to someone and not have them just talk down to her. Awesome story.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I love the way Spike reminds Buffy of the parallells between Dawn's actions and Buffy's at the end of season 2: "Because I'd just killed my boyfriend, okay?" she snapped. "So, extenuating circumstances."
Buffy was so distracted by her own pain she was totally oblivious to Dawn's. The whole situation you describe is very rue to character at the beginning of season 6.Loved it.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed how this story addressed Buffy's parenting issues. The dialogue between the two sisters and also with Spike was great. I especially liked how Buffy was transported into her mothers shoes while Dawn was missing. Thanks for the wonderful read!
Congrats on your wins for Closure at the SunnyD Awards!!! :D
Author's Response: Thank you! I liked the parallel between Buffy/Joyce and Dawn/Buffy, so I'm really glad it worked for you. Thanks for the review!
