Summary:
I know, I know, I'm supposed to be dead. We'll get to that later.

The Final Battle was long and cruel and dark. Spike still has a really sexy scar on the back of his shoulder from him and Angel teaming up to kill the dragon. There were so many clawed and poising-filled things, you couldn't even see the people that were getting massacred with you! I, for one, would like to know who I outlived. Well, don't look at me, I don't know who died either. I was only spying on Spike, not the rest of the Fang Gang. What?! I had a job to do, I couldn't take my eyes off him for a second! Gosh, I'm half dead, give a girl a break! They're most likely all dead, anyway.

Right, back to the point. Spike can't even ask these questions because he has much more pressing ones to find the answers to. Like "How the Bloody Hell do I get out of here?" Or even: "How long have I been here?" Spike needs to escape, like now. Okay, his kidnapper isn't going to kill him now... I think... But I'm bored!

(Warning: many errors in the first few chapters, and the whole thing's kinda cringe. Maybe it's campy? It was my fist fic, I didn't understand the site or how to post things properly, I was a teenager, etc. etc. But it holds a special place as my first in this fandom and the first long story I finished.)

Not me leaving this fic for nearly a decade and coming back to it because of the finishing challenge... Whoops. We're stumbling across the finish line, but we're finishing! I wrote this fic when I was like 14 and 15, so I tried to be in my 15-year old self's head when I wrote this last chapter. Did I skip over some plot points I wanted back when I started this story so I could get it completed in one chapter? Yep. Am I the least bit upset about that? Nope.
