Hi, I'm Nell! I'm a twenty-six year old high school teacher. I'm British, but went to college in the States so I (think!) I have a good handle on American spelling 'n' slang! These days I live with my (patient/loving/strange/wild/shy) boyfriend in Hanoi, in Vietnam, where we both teach at an international high school.

I'm a little sister, with impossibly big big sister shoes to fill, so I have always felt a certain affinity with Dawn. However, I'm also a big sister, so I can fully empaphize with Buffy, too!

I'm an avid BtVS fan, and have been ever since I was a teenager. Buffy's my hero and I simply adore her, regardless of the season and regardless of her state of mind. She is, at her core, a very human and relateable character, with faults and insecurities just like anybody else. She's not too dissimilar to Spike- which is one of the many reason why I think their relationship had so much potential.

I also adore the human complexity of Spike's character. The fact that he has loved for so long without true reciprocation. The fact that he is able to feel human emotions that other vamps don't seem to have access to (or don't want to have access to). The fact that he has self-control, and the ability to change his character for the right reasons.

I think I've been in Spuffy love since I was fifteen years old... Maybe even longer than that! All I know is that there's something in their story that I can't let go of. And luckily there's a place for that (thank goodness!) I love EF... I've been lingering for a while, so it's nice to finally have something to offer in return. Thanks for reading!
