I am a single mother of 3 adult children (as of Dec 2022 18, 23, 28). I recently retired from arts administration for health reasons and am now working as a freelance transcript editor, fiction editor, and artist. CURRENT HEALTH STATUS: I finally had my first bout with COVID in Oct 22 and am still in many ways recovering. I have seen some improvements since leaving my health-destroying job but still working on neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and other fun stuff. I have more time to write now!

CURRENT FIC STATUS (12/29/22):

NONE OF MY FICS HAVE BEEN ABANDONED. I go where my brain takes me because I can't afford not to take the muse up on what she offers. I am addressing older WIPs in order of how fast I think I can finish them, based on plotted length and current progress, in rotation with the more recent WIPs that my brain is freshly enthused with.

These fics have tabs open and are in active rotation:

*What Happens In Quarantine.... High priority WIP. Not that I wish my pandemic life involved no work and sexy Spike or anything.

*Call Me Maybe: This is the other WIP currently in my rotation. Currently 2 chapters in and it'll be a sloooooow burn.

*Dribbles: My smutty drabbles fic. Stopped doing these when work was trying to kill me this summer, but I'll be returning to them soon!

*Random smutty oneshots: I may write these as the whim takes me.

No Place Like Home: Just started this one (because I cannot resist Challenge Month) and hope to get back on it soon. It won't be as long as some others.

Brunettes Have More Fun: Another challenge month start. This one's a multi-season slow burn so probably low on the list for completion behind some others.

Chupacabreunion: Trying to get back to this as it won't be super long. I took down the link to Nicholas Brendon reading a couple scenes because I found out what a horrible human he is and refuses to change. The Naked City: Needs some plotting work but hoping to return to soon

Defying Gravity: Expect this one to come slowly as it is complicated for many reasons.

Whiskey & Brie: It's going to be a long one, and isn't going to have romantic Spuffy for a while since, uh, she's a rat, but I expect the payoff to be worth it!

Hand in Hand: Continuation of my chapter for the 2021 Exquisite Corpse "Exquisite Constellations" - Maybe 2 chapters more to add on. Not sure when I'll be doing this, but plans are to do it soon since it's short.

Backburnered pending completion of some other fics:

I Dream of Spikey: 4 chapters posted, not currently active but I have a good chunk of the smut written ahead, hope to get back to soon.

In for a Penny: Moony is on hiatus from Buffy fandom. (Check out her Good Omens fic on AO3!) But it's not dead, we are still friends, and one or both of us will write more as soon as we are able.

Something Randy, Something Joan: Something backburnered, but I am writing on this when the mood takes me. 

Restfield Irregulars: Has some future writing done but is coming slowly. Backburnered until I clear my plate somewhat.

Power of Two: I posted what I have, not currently active but not abandoned.

A Babe in the Woods/Spike's Joy: I posted what I have, not currently active. I have to be in a mood to look at ugliness when I write this, since much of it is thinly-disguised personal history.
